28 June – We Have Lost The Coffee – Out Now!

It’s the day that coffee and comedy lovers have been waiting for! ‘We Have Lost The Coffee’ is now available to purchase from Amazon and read at your leisure. Its 42 chapters are packed with non-stop comedy, action and coffee jokes set in London, 2045, during the Coffee Wars – a dispute which has seen the nation’s caffeine supplies hit critical levels. I know – it sounds more like a horror, but I’ve managed to achieve the impossible and make it incredibly funny. You can buy it here:

3 May – The Blog is Back!

After a six-month break, I’ve restarted my blog. I’ll be focusing it more on funny stuff from now on. First up is a post entitled ‘When Humo(u)r Goes Bad’ which includes excerpts from some of the reviews that say that I’m not funny. Yes, they do exist! You can read it here.

28 April – We Have Lost The Chihuahuas

With book three in the series, We Have Lost The Coffee, just two months away, work has already started on book four – We Have Lost The Chihuahuas. This is scheduled for release at the end of November. It features regulars such as Howie, Britt, Freddie and Martha, as well as a host of new characters. These include a gum-chewing British First Lady from California, a psychopathic half-British, half-French vice president, and a Mexican embassy official who studied at the University of Chihuahua. There will be regular updates on this and other ‘We Have Lost’ titles in my Very Funny Newsletter over the coming weeks. So, if you haven’t signed up already, please do!

14 April – New Twitter Me

Yes, that’s right, my socially-mediated friends. From today, I am no longer @IamTheHuman on Twitter. I am now @QuiteFunnyGuy. Why not @VeryFunnyGuy I hear you cry across the interwebs? Well, I’m a very modest kind of homo sapien. And also, someone else already had that username. But I prefer ‘Quite Funny Guy’ anyway. Who knows? Maybe I’ll write a novel called ‘Quite Funny Guy’, one day? A novel that’s made into a film…maybe one starring Sam Rockwell and Angelina Jolie. Okay, that’s enough daydreaming. Just follow me on Twitter and I’ll be happy. Thanks!

7 April – Very Funny Newsletter

Issue #3 has been sent out today. Subscribers can win the chance to win a £10 (or $10) Amazon voucher. For more details, visit the Newsletter page.

18 March – We Have Lost The Coffee – Update

After two months of intensive writing, I’ve now written 33 out of 40 chapters of We Have Lost The Coffee – the third book in the ‘We Have Lost’ series. The first draft should be completed by the end of March. After that milestone, it’s off to the test readers for a week or so. Then my editor gets her hands on it. When it’s returned from there, it gets tweaked some more, before being sent to a team of bloggers in late May. They will read and review it in time for the official launch on Wednesday 28th June.

A ‘Facebook party’ is planned for launch day (no, I’m not sure what that is either, but it sounds fun!). I plan to make the e-book available for pre-orders on Amazon from early June, when it will be priced at £1.99 and $2.99.

2 March – We Have Another Best Seller!

Yes, that’s right. We Have Lost The Pelicans has bumped its older brother off the #1 spot in the Amazon US ‘Political Humor’ category and is now officially a best seller. It’s also gaining some great reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. And it’s still only costs £1.99 or $2.99 to download. So, if you haven’t bought it already, what are you waiting for?!
